Project Update: Amsterdam Tank Terminal Infrastucture

5 min read time

The first milestones have been reached in the prefabrication of piping for a major infrastructure project in Amsterdam’s tank terminal sector, at our Fabrication Yard in Vlaardingen. A manifold measuring approximately 28 × 11 metres, featuring 12″, 16″ and 20″ piping with complex geometries, is currently being assembled. The system will be fully fabricated, hydrotested and inspected by an independent inspection body before transport and installation.

By completing as much work as possible off-site, we reduce on-site activities, improve execution control, shorten installation time and enhance safety. Another great example of engineering, craftsmanship and teamwork delivering quality from the very start. We look forward to the next phase of the project.
