What will you do?
As a Work Preparer Piping Prefabrication, you are the connecting link between engineering and production. You ensure that projects are prepared down to the smallest detail, enabling the team to work efficiently and safely. You work closely with production, QC, and project management, and have a direct impact on the success of our projects.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Preparing work packages and technical documentation
- Reading and interpreting isometric drawings
- Procurement and planning of materials and tools
- Coordination with production management, QC, and project teams
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the preparation phase
- Contributing to process optimization and quality improvement
- Supporting cost calculations and progress reporting
Requirements
- MBO+/HBO level of working and thinking (Mechanical Engineering / Metal Technology)
- Experience with piping and prefabrication in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of welding techniques (ASME, ISO) is an advantage
- Having VCA VOL and additional certifications are a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and accuracy skills
- Experience with Outlook, Excel, and preferably ERP systems
- Good command of Dutch; English is an advantage
