Ineos had been struggling with inwatering issues under their storage tanks, which led to corrosion. Previous attempts to resolve this issue had been unsuccessful, creating an ongoing concern for the longevity of their tanks.

After four years, follow-up inspections showed promising results, with a significant decrease in inwatering and stabilized corrosion under the tank.

The success of the Rainshield system led to ongoing installations at Ineos’s site, with the company planning to install the system on all 40 tanks over the next 10 to 15 years to ensure continuous protection against corrosion.
