Living Wage & Fair Pay
At J. de Jonge Group, we believe that everyone deserves a fair and dignified standard of living. That’s why we ensure all our employees earn a living wage—a wage that covers essential needs such as housing, food, healthcare, and transportation.
Our Living Wage Target
As of today, all J. de Jonge employees earn at or above living wage levels. We commit to maintaining 100% living wage coverage and continuously reviewing this standard through 2030 and beyond.
What We Do Today &
How We Maintain
Our latest assessment confirms that employees in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands (HQ), the USA (Houston), and Saudi Arabia already earn at or above living wage levels. In locations where reliable benchmarks are not available, we safeguard dignity through company-provided housing, transport, and allowances. To ensure fair and sustainable pay, we actively maintain this standard through the following actions:
Annual Benchmark Reviews
Regular evaluation of wage benchmarks in every region to stay aligned with living wage standards.
Cost of Living Adjustments
Wages are adjusted in response to changes in local cost-of-living developments.
Migrant Worker Support
Additional support measures for migrant workers when circumstances require it.
Transparent Reporting
Clear and open reporting in line with our global policy commitments.
