JMEC Engineering, part of the family-owned company J. de Jonge within the Mechanical Division, specializes in Piping, Mechanical & Structural Engineering and primarily operates in the petrochemical industry, particularly in the processing, storage, and transshipment of oils, plastics, and chemicals.
What will you do?
With locations in Vlaardingen, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and the U.S., we are a progressive force in the industrial energy transition and one of the major players in the Netherlands. Our independent divisions, ranging from engineering to production and maintenance, collaborate to support each other effectively.
Requirements
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical and/or process engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience in designing process/piping systems including flow and/or pipestress calculations.
- Experience with structural steel design, tanks, loading arms, pressure vessels or other relevant equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
- At least 7 years of experience in engineering or a related field.
- Management experience is a plus.
- Commercial awareness, especially in negotiations and client relationships.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software and platforms such as Caesar II and PV Elite (or similar).
