What will you do?

As a Meewerkend Voorman in our JRS (J. de Jonge Rotating Service) department in Vlaardingen, you will assist our customers with the maintenance or complete overhaul of their rotating equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Checking planning, purchasing parts, incoming goods, and revision reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Instructing and coordinating tasks within the department.
• Leading technicians when necessary and serving as the intermediary between your department and the project leader.
• Performing hands-on work at both external locations and in the workshop.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with agitators, centrifugal, and positive displacement pumps.
• Leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and a true people manager.
• MBO education in a technical field (mechanical engineering or similar).
• Familiarity with quality standards such as API 610 for centrifugal pumps.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Knowledge and experience in rotating equipment.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties.
• Availability for overtime.
