What will you do?
Are you ready for a new challenge in engineering? Are you technically skilled and looking for a place where you can truly make a difference? At J. de Jonge – a close-knit family business with an open and positive working atmosphere – you’ll work as a Sr. Work Preparator on exciting projects in the industrial energy transition. You are responsible for the preparation and coordination of mechanical maintenance projects, handling everything from site assessments and procurement to organizing execution. You are the technical linchpin ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.
- You work on-site at our clients’ locations and ensure that prefabricated piping and components are perfectly installed.
- You communicate directly with the project manager and foreman.
- You closely monitor the schedule and ensure that quality and safety are always top priorities. You’ll have a lot of freedom, work with modern tools, and plenty of opportunities to grow through training and courses.

Requirements
- MBO/HBO level education in mechanical engineering or equivalent;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a work preparator;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work dynamically in a fast-changing environment;
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude;
- Ability to create and manage detailed project schedules;
- A flexible attitude toward changing project requirements and priorities.
