What will you do?
As a key member of the J. de Jonge Group, you will manage exciting and groundbreaking EPC projects across various international locations. Our projects range from €20 to €50 million, and you will work closely with clients, design teams, and other key stakeholders. Your responsibilities include:
- Planning, organizing, managing, and successfully completing projects.
- Taking accountability for project budgets, timelines, and safety protocols.
- Defining and leading the project execution strategy, owning the project execution plan.
- Developing and overseeing the project program.
- Securing and managing key resources.
- Mediating and resolving conflicts within the team and with third parties.
- Coordinating all project team activities and driving performance.
- Leading commercial change management and maintaining client relationships.
- Holding the project team accountable, ensuring motivation, delivery, and high performance.

Requirements
We’re eager to meet candidates who meet the following profile:
- BSc / BEng / MSc or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Willingness to work internationally for extended periods.
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager in multi-disciplinary projects within an EPCM/EPC contractor environment, preferably in technical sectors.
- Proven ability to develop detailed project schedules.
- Strong knowledge of construction activities across all disciplines and how they integrate into successful project outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with various project phases, including detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- A results-driven mindset; success is measured by client satisfaction and project excellence.
- Exceptional organizational skills; ability to plan and coordinate activities effectively before assigning tasks and managing interdependencies.
- Ability to identify and contribute to business growth opportunities, including sales support, business management, and strategy development.
- Strong leadership and delegation skills; empowering your team while remaining deeply involved in project progress and intervening when necessary.
- Expertise in change control procedures, with the ability to communicate the financial and timeline impact of changes to clients.
- Proven ability to motivate teams to achieve their targets, even in challenging situations.
