What will you do?
As a Procurement Specialist, you will manage day-to-day procurement activities and ensure that materials, goods and services are purchased efficiently and delivered on time.
- Requesting and comparing supplier quotations;
- Evaluating prices, quality and delivery terms;
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders;
- Following up on orders, deliveries and shipments;
- Coordinating logistics and the receipt of materials;
- Checking received materials against orders and specifications;
- Maintaining procurement and supplier documentation;
- Supporting supplier evaluations and negotiations;
- Working closely with Project Management, Sales and the Warehouse;
- Ensuring compliance with company and HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field;
- Minimum of three years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in an industrial or engineering environment;
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and purchase orders;
- Experience in working with suppliers, logistics and delivery follow-up;
- Good negotiation and communication skills;
- Good command of English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage;
- Good computer and ERP skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
