Haan Oil Storage manages and operates independently-owned tank farms in the Netherlands, with strong management expertise in installations owned by major oil corporations in Houston and Rotterdam. Their terminals accommodate ocean liners, barges, pipelines, rail and road transport, allowing efficient discharge and onward distribution of oil and petroleum products.
At Haan Oil Storage in Dordrecht, J. de Jonge TankX was commissioned to carry out the replacement of a second tank roof top. Following the successful completion of the first replacement, the challenge was to perform the works within a tight timeframe, under strict safety and quality requirements, while minimizing disruption to the client’s ongoing operations.
The project included the removal of the existing roof structure, fabrication of a new prefabricated roof top, and installation on site with full integration of fittings, nozzles and safety components. All works were executed according to the latest industry standards, ensuring full compliance with both client and regulatory specifications.
Close coordination with the Haan Oil Storage operations team allowed the project to be carried out efficiently and safely, from preparation to final testing.
The second tank roof top replacement was completed ahead of schedule, without any incidents, and in full accordance with quality and safety standards.
Thanks to the professional cooperation between both teams, the project was once again delivered as promised.
