What will you do?
As a Project Engineer, you will work on-site with our client. You will ensure the seamless assembly of prefabricated piping, fittings, and accessories for mechanical maintenance projects. Leveraging your knowledge and experience, you will independently handle work preparation and material procurement. You will continuously inform the project leader and foreman about the progress of the order while managing planning, costs, risks, quality, and the technical integrity of the project. You fluent in Dutch and English and enjoy working on technical, challenging projects. Your responsibilities include:
- Conduct site surveys, including measuring, reading isometrics, and sketching on location.
- Prepare work and procure the necessary materials.
- Ensure the verification and registration of material certificates.
- Develop inspection test plans, including the Line Inspection Summary List (LISL).
- Compile Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).
- Direct and oversee NDO research.
- Create Task Risk Analyses (TRA) and work procedures.
- Provide aftercare for ongoing and/or completed assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor/HBO work and thinking level in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience as a Work Preparator/Project Engineer.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work dynamically in a fast-changing environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in creating and monitoring detailed project schedules.
- A flexible approach to changing project requirements and priorities.
