What will you do?
As an Electrical Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for the engineering of various electrical installations in the industry. You will work on multiple multidisciplinary projects in the light industry and ensure that engineering challenges are addressed thoroughly. In this role, you will also liaise with partner companies conducting detailed designs. Depending on the size and complexity of the project, the team may vary in size and composition. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.
Your responsibilities
- Engineering entire light, power, and low-voltage installations, ensuring concept realization at partner companies.
- Preparing power lists, installation diagrams, cable lists, etc.
- Translating the wishes of internal clients into concrete designs for electrical installations.
- Modifying PLC programs as necessary.
- Ensuring that your design team creates designs that meet client wishes, quality standards, and legal requirements, while also considering sustainability, feasibility, and maintenance.
- Conducting on-site inspections of your designed specifications during implementation.
- Supporting the R&D department with new developments, such as product electrification.
- Executing tasks effectively and efficiently.

Requirements
- A completed HBO degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Several years of experience as an electrical engineer for industrial clients.
- Experience in developing and reading Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Knowledge of IEC, ATEX standards.
- Familiarity with PLC and SCADA packages.
- Understanding of common electrical disciplines and ability to coordinate various tasks.
- Knowledge of electrical standards (such as NEN1010), documents, and drawings.
- Familiarity with specifying low-voltage distribution boards and emergency lighting installations.
- Flexibility to switch quickly between different projects at a detailed level.
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written; Dutch is a plus.
